To start our summer getaway we’re relying on sweltering days, a balmy breeze and the quintessential above-the-knee swim trunks—perfect for catching the best waves and sleek enough for an afternoon on the boardwalk. As the evening cools down we find it fitting to pair Saltbox shorts with a lightweight hooded-sweatshirt, both in appropriate but bright seasonal hues. Quick-drying and featuring a front coin pocket—Saltbox’s Drift Boardshort is more than just swimwear, it plays as an icon for the in and out of the water beach lifestyle. Featuring raglan sleeves, a pocket near the shoulder and a soft-to-touch 100 percent cotton fabric, the hoodie by Saltbox is strong enough to last more than a few seasons and American as ever in its aesthetic and styling. Whether you are taking fashion cues from black and white Paul Newman photos or trying to live your own Endless Summer, the versatility of quick-drying trunks and a light, quality sweatshirt will surely get you through the summer days and mild nights—having a beer, conversation or evening with someone special around your favorite coastal town.

Totally fell in love with two pairs of those. Bought them at Unionmade in SF. Sadly the quality was so poor that I am not trusting that brand anymore. The first one ripped in the crotch even though they were not tide. The next one started to pull threads of nylon after two days. I am begging the designer to change the manufacturer!
